Moony's Memories

I cannot help what I become
So turn back, fast, and run
I will see you soon after the sun.
I know you guys are loyal
But I cannot spoil your fun.

I snuck out at midnight
but oh that was such a fright.
I transformed in front of my friends
back then I thought it was the end.
They helped out, became Wormtail, Padfoot, and Prongs
And kept me in control all night long.
But after Hogwarts it wasn't so great,
I lost two of my good ol' mates
Voldemort killed Lily and James
I still cannot get it through my brain.
Then they put Sirius in Azkaban
And Peter was presumably dead.
Twelve years later I became a teacher and met Harry
He wasn't so merry.
Sirius broke out, I didn't know what to do
Then Harry said he had saw Pettigrew.
Sirius told him what happened and I realized he was innocent.
Harry and Hermione helped him escape.
I joined the Order of the Phoenix once again
Voldemort returned, everyone was scared.
Harry needed more protection
But poor Sirius was killed in the action.
everyone was grieving, especially Tonks.
We became closer and closer as the days went by,
I was in love, I cannot lie.
Then I found out she was pregnant
How could I be so foolish and pass down my habit?
But everything went right, We named him Ted
And Harry was his godfather just as Sirius had been.
Then we all fought at the Battle of Hogwarts.
Dolohov finished me off but Tonks joined me soon after.
We walked together into the light
Knowing that Teddy would have a good life.
